Announcement of the revision of the user consent screen

Dear SWITCH edu-ID Members and Users We would like to inform you that we are planning iterative changes in the user experience and interface of SWITCH edu-ID. This concerns the login as well as the account management. In addition to ensuring high availability and security, we also want to concentrate on usability. The next change concerns the consent screen that is displayed when logging in to a service for the first time. Below is a preview of the new consent screen. [cid:image001.png@01D8E560.95F397A0] Since transparency and data privacy is very important to us, we give the user the opportunity to obtain detailed information about which data is transmitted to the service when clicking on the descriptions. We would like to remind you that each service owner can already store a resource logo in the Resource Registry (https://rr.aai.switch.ch), which is planned to be displayed on the consent screen. To do so, you can go to: > Resource Information > Edit > Descriptive Information > Resource Logo We plan to implement the changes in early November, and we appreciate your comments in the meantime.
